I’m a volunteer for the local community centre and U3A and I agreed to run an art group..We have a cheerful chatty group of about 15 or so who mostly are starting from scratch “…I’ve always wanted to be able to draw/paint…”. I took up painting seriously when I retired. I just wondered if you have any good advice for us, and if your book Drawing Notes For Art Students is actually a book for sale, and if perhaps it could be useful for us. We’re having great fun wearing me out! Be good if you could spare some time for us here in Tawa, north Wellington NZ. We would appreciate it very much – M Johnston

      Dear Jane,
Thank you for your interest in ‘Drawing notes for art students’. I do sell them here at the Bakehouse Gallery at Patonga but can post you a copy for $20 plus postage – about $3. I also give free help if you ring or text first and bring some of your drawings with you for discussion: 0417 44 1938.
      Regards, Jocelyn
